This year, dinosaurs will once more rule Belgium… as WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – THE ARENA SPECTACULAR, based on the successful BBC television series, returns.

After shows in 250 cities and more than 9 million spectators, a new world tour will start on July 20th 2018 in Newcastle, UK. From 7 to 9 December, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – THE ARENA SPECTACULAR will return to Brussels!

This amazing and impressive show takes you back, 200 million years in time, to a forgotten world, where you will witness the return of the most gigantic creatures ever to inhabit the earth.

The history of the world is played out with the splitting of the earth’s continents, and the transition from the arid desert of the Triassic period is given over to the lush green prairies and forces of the later Jurassic. Oceans form, volcanoes erupt, a forest catches fire — all leading to the impact of the massive comet, which struck the earth, and forced the extinction of the dinosaurs.

This production cost over 20 million dollars to develop and prides itself on using the most advanced stage technology. This new production will showcase spectacular and colourful changes to the dinosaurs based on the latest scientific research, including the likely feathering of some species.

All of this combined, makes this show the biggest dinosaur show on the planet.

WALKING WITH DINOSAURS – THE ARENA SPECTACULAR combines the craftsmanship and the talent of over 50 engineers, fabricators, skin makers, artists, painters, and animatronic experts. Together they created the world famous, hyper realistic, breath taking creatures, including the Stegosaurus, the Utah Raptors and the terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex! The largest of them all is the Brachiosaurus that measures 11 meters in height and 17 meters from head to tail.

Watch them walk, hear them roar and witness their battle for survival! From the texture of their skin, to the flicker in their eyes, the sheer cinematographic realism will take away all doubts: the dinosaurs are truly back among us!
